Showing Up Anway
Hey there, spiritual solopreneur!👋 Erica here, sharing your Sunday night pep talk on something that moved me deeply last week - the quiet power of simply showing up.

The Power of Showing Up
Even When It's Hard
One of our Residents almost canceled her 1:1 session. You know the feeling - when life gets chaotic, and the easiest thing would be to reschedule.
But she didn't.
Despite having a sick child at home (who, as we later found out, had mono), despite the worry and stress of moving houses weighing on her mind, she showed up. And in that short session, something mystical happened.
"It was very anchoring to me to stay in the process during this crazy time," she shared afterward.
Her courage reminded me of what's possible when we choose to show up:
✿
I can immediately get things done.
✿
I can immediately reprioritize.
✿
I have enough energy.
✿
I have the devotion and discipline to do it and ENJOY IT.
And if certain tasks need more time? They'll be there tomorrow. Because showing up isn't about getting everything done perfectly - it's about honoring our commitments, especially when it would be easier not to.
In Business and Life
Momentum
When we put off our work, when we delay those 1:1 sessions, when we choose convenience over consistency, something starts to erode. It's subtle at first - like water slowly wearing away at a rock. But over time, it eats away at our:
+ Momentum
+ Energy flow
+ Client trust
+ Business growth
+ Self-belief
But here's the beautiful flip side: Inside Tabernacle, I've witnessed something extraordinary. I've attracted multi-passionate, multi-purposeful, top people in their fields. And you know what's remarkable? THEY ALL LOVE WHAT THEY DO!
They're calm; they understand priorities and flow energy. They know that success isn't about doing everything perfectly - it's about showing up consistently and choosing where to direct their energy.
Three Key Insights to Remember:
- Prioritize and enjoy the process
- No room for overwhelm; it's all about choices
- Be busy, but enjoy every moment
What I'm Working On:
Creating systems that make showing up easier.
This includes:
__
Pre-scheduling content for those tough weeks. Easier said than done, I know, but I do have a few great processes in place that I could share with you next week. Let me know if you are interested.
__
Simplifying with automation. My coach and I set up a sweet Calendly-Zapier-AirTable flow that tracks all my potential clients from first contact to enrollment!
__
Making non-negotiables stick. I end work at 2pm for my 2:30 yoga session. Even if I only make it 3 days instead of 5, that's still a win.
What I 'm Celebrating:
Remember that client I mentioned? After our session, she got her son the medical attention he needed - turns out it was an allergic reaction to his mono medication. Sometimes, keeping one commitment gives us the strength to handle everything else life throws our way.
A Pro Tip for Working with Mentors:
Even I want to cancel my 1:1 sessions with my coach because "I'm not prepared" or "I don't want to waste that time if I don't have everything ready." Here's what works: Leading up to the session, I add my questions directly to the calendar event, then take 15 minutes before I meet with her to get into my zone of genius; meaning files are open, links ready to share. When my mentor asks "What are we working on today?", I'm ready - not because I have everything figured out, but because I showed up.
✿
Until next Sunday, keep showing up anyways!
With total support,
Erica
