You've heard me preach about grit, determination, and pushing through obstacles. Even last week, I posted a reel called "The Mother Hustle" about getting the #5to9 shift done.
But what if I told you the real key to business success is believing in yourself? And what if there was a powerful tool to boost that belief?
Enter hypnosis and the subconscious mind. I promise you, this isn't woo-woo – it's how you strengthen your business confidence.
Hypnosis isn't about making people cluck like chickens (although I wish it was during my sessions). It's a way to talk to the deep-down part of your brain - the part that controls how you really feel about yourself.
When we're constantly doing and planning, we often become self-conscious. We overthink, doubt, and criticize our work before it's even fully formed. This leads to unfinished projects or never sharing or selling our offers.
But true inspiration arises when we're not self-conscious. It comes when we've stepped away from the constant doing and allowed our minds to wander. That's when the subconscious is fully put to work.
Your Untapped Goldmine: The Subconscious
Your conscious mind might be working overtime, but that's only 10% of your power. The other 90% lies in your subconscious. It's always processing in the background, seeing connections your conscious mind overlooks.
Your subconscious is better at navigating emotions, helping you craft authentic work. Those "aha!" moments? They often come when you're relaxed because your subconscious has been quietly piecing together the solution in the background.
By incorporating hypnosis and subconscious processing into your business practices, you're not just working harder – you're working smarter.
My Hypnosis Revelation
I'll be honest, I was skeptical at first. Hypnosis? In my business? But after incorporating it into my routine, the results were undeniable. Clearer messaging, more aligned clients, and a deeper sense of "You can and you will" mentality every time I sat down at my computer. It is hard to explain, but I stopped questioning and just focused on doing it.
Therefore, I knew I had to share this tool with my Tabernacle community.
Why Your Business Needs Hypnosis
- Find creative answers to tough problems you couldn't solve before :
"I've been stuck on this website design for weeks. Subconscious mind, I demand that you help me find the perfect layout idea!" - Make sure your deep-down beliefs match up with what you want to achieve: "I want to scale my business, but I keep sabotaging myself. Subconscious mind, I demand that you help me find my hidden fear of success."
- Draw in the right people by being super confident in yourself: "I want to feel more authentic in my marketing. Subconscious mind, I demand that you help me attract clients who truly resonate with my message."
- Stop negative thoughts from holding you back: "I have this voice in my head that always says, 'You're not good enough.' Subconscious mind, I demand that you help me catch myself and start thinking, 'I've got this!'"
- Listen to your gut feeling to make better choices : "I overthink every business decision. Subconscious mind, I demand that you help me trust my intuition and lead me to some amazing opportunities!"
As you can see, hypnosis isn't about zoning out or losing control. It's about harnessing the power of your mind to work for you, not against you.
Therefore, it's time to make hypnosis a non-negotiable part of your business strategy.

Your Hypnosis Starter Pack
Want to try it? Here's a simple "before bed" exercise I teach inside Tabernacle:
- Lay quietly in bed with your eyes closed and take some deep breaths.
- Think about a specific problem in your creative work or business.
- Demand that your subconscious mind finds a solution. Repeat this request three times.
- Imagine yourself running your dream business. See it clearly in your mind.
- Feel how happy and proud you are in that moment.
- Say to yourself: "I believe in myself and my business will succeed."
Do this for 5-10 minutes right before bed or first thing in the morning.
Consistency is key! This isn't a one-and-done solution.
Commit to this practice for at least 21 days and watch your self-belief grow.
What I'm Teaching
In Tabernacle's Week Five, we explore advanced hypnosis techniques with a guest alumni and hypnotherapist Monika Tschuggnall (@monikatschuggnall on Instagram). She leads us through a group hypnosis session designed to supercharge your belief in your creative potential.
What I'm listening too
Sally Rooney's latest audiobook "Intermezzo" on Spotify. Her writing embodies a cool, pared-back style that feels fresh and resonant, especially for our generation.
Until next Sunday, keep hypnotizing yourself with visions of success!
